Safeguarding Foundation Training – Upcoming Dates

Safeguarding is a shared responsibility, and we are committed to ensuring our churches remain safe, welcoming spaces for everyone. As part of this commitment, Safeguarding Foundation Training is being offered across the circuit in January.

Who needs to attend?

This training is required for anyone who holds any role within the church and has not completed safeguarding training within the past four years. This includes both paid and voluntary roles.

Training dates and venues

You can choose from the following options:

• Saturday 17 January | 9:30am – 1:00pm | The Spire, Poole
• Monday 19 January | 6:00pm – 9:00pm | Online via Zoom
• Saturday 31 January | 9:30am – 1:00pm | BMC Victoria Park

• check whether your previous safeguarding training is still within the required four-year period

Safeguarding Officers are also asked to help promote these training opportunities within their churches.
