The Welcome Inn café celebrates its first year

The Welcome Inn café at Victoria Park celebrates its one year anniversary on the 24th May

We plan to celebrate this wonderful achievement starting with a special Intergenerational Anniversary service with Deacon Suzie Viana and the worship band at 10:30am on Sunday 28th May at Victoria Park.

The celebrations will then continue during the school half term break with 'Hobbies Corner' at the café on Wednesday 31st May and Thursday 1st June from 10am to 2pm. Hobbies Corner offers everyone the opportunity to join in and try different craft activities for all ages and abilities.

We will finish the celebrations with a Café Church Style worship on Sunday 4th June at Victoria Park. The community and customers of the café are invited and everyone is encouraged to bring along a card or a gift they really appreciated receiving, this can be a recently received item or perhaps a cherished memory item.

Hobbies Corner

The Hobbies Corner, running 10am to 2pm on Wednesday 31st May and Thursday 1st June, welcomes everyone of all ages and abilities.

During the sessions you will get the opportunity to try the following crafts:

• French Knitting
• Wonderful Weaving
• Needlepoint for Starters
• Knitting together & Natter
• Latch Hook Rug Samples and more.

There will be something for everyone – come along, meet others and enjoy yourself!
