Vacancy: Would you like to join the Welcome Inn team?

We currently have a vacancy for a Café Assistant at The Welcome Inn at Bournemouth Methodist Church @ Victoria Park, Jameson Road, Bournemouth

Hours:

• Normal working pattern: 12.5 hours per week
• Working Wednesday 8.30 – 4.30pm
• And Thursday 11:30 – 4:30pm

Salary:

• Real Living Wage – £13.45 per hour

Bournemouth Methodists are seeking to recruit a Café Assistant to join our growing team of wonderful staff and volunteers who run the Welcome Inn Café.

The work will be to assist with the manager and other team members in running the café and promoting an inclusive ethos in accordance with the objectives of the Bournemouth Methodist Church.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is fully understanding and supportive of the Christian objectives of the café
• Is a confident and effective communicator with customers and staff
• Has a passion for welcoming all into the café
• Has experience in providing good customer care
• Has experience in working in a catering environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right skills and passion to be part of our growing team in running the Welcome Inn Café that is making such a difference to the lives of many people in the local community.

• This is a fixed term contract for 3 years.
• Full time holiday entitlement is 28 days (including Public Holidays) This is Pro Rata and the holiday year is from 1st September to the following 31st August each year.
• You will be automatically enrolled in the NEST Pension Scheme, but have the right to opt out.
• An enhanced DBS check will be required for this post.
