Lent 2026 Across the Poole Bay Methodist Circuit

Lent is a season to pause, reflect and respond to God’s loving invitation. Across the Poole Bay Methodist Circuit this year, there are a range of opportunities to gather, learn and grow together — in person and online.

Whether you prefer an afternoon group, an evening discussion, or joining from home via Zoom, there is a place for you.

You don’t need to be a Bible expert. You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to be willing to turn up.

Choose a group that fits your diary and commit to the journey. Even five weeks of intentional reflection can make a lasting difference.

'The Sacraments: Responding to God’s Loving Invitation'

Three groups across the circuit will be following this shared course, creating a sense of connection as we journey through Lent together.

Through teaching, discussion and reflection, we will explore how the sacraments draw us deeper into the life of Christ and shape our discipleship today.

If you’ve ever wanted to better understand why the sacraments matter — and how they speak into everyday life — this course will stretch and encourage you.
