Flipping Fantastic Fun at Circuit Youth Group! 🥞

God Squad, our Circuit Youth Group, enjoyed a brilliant evening of pancake-making as part of our pre-Lent activities, filling the hall with laughter (and the smell of freshly cooked pancakes!).

The young people rolled up their sleeves, mixed the batter, and took turns at the frying pans – with some impressive flipping skills on display. From classic lemon and sugar to chocolate spread and fruit, everyone created their own delicious masterpiece.

As well as having fun, we took time later during our God Slot to focus on Racial Justice Sunday. Sharing food together reminded us of the importance of community, and fair treatment for all.

It was a simple evening, but one full of warmth, conversation and plenty of smiles.

If you have a young person who would like to get involved in our Circuit Youth Group, we’d love to welcome them along to our next gathering.


The Circuit Youth group, GOD SQUAD, continues to meet at the Spire on alternate Sunday evenings in term-time and attendance averages 8-10. Snooker, table tennis, table football as well as chess and board games are popular pursuits. we also regularly undertake art and craft projects.

At each meeting we also spend some focussed time considering Christian themes or teaching. Sometimes we lead these sessions "in-house", but also welcome visitors to lead our "God Slot".

The group meet fortnightly on Sundays in term-time, 6:00-7:30pm at The Spire, Poole in Hall 1.

If you have any children 11-18 or about to turn 11 in your churches, do get in touch – they would be very welcome to join God Squad.
